The AZM-002 Series is a InfraRed Thermometer used to measure temperature of human body and any object. An infrared thermometer uses a lens to focus the infrared rays emitted by an object on a detector called a thermopile. The thermopile is just a thermocouple connected in series or in parallel. When infrared rays hit the surface of the thermopile, they are absorbed and converted into heat. The output voltage is generated in proportion to the incident infrared energy. The detector uses this output to determine the temperature displayed on the screen. The whole process may sound complicated, but it only takes a few seconds for the infrared thermometer to record the temperature and display it in the desired unit
